What to do

Sail along the peaceful mangroves and admire the scenic jungle views as you travel on a dugout canoe up River Jurubida or Chori – a place teeming with life: parrots, kingfishers, toucans, hummingbirds, monkeys and beautiful exotic flowers and plants.

Travel by motorboat to Ensenada de Utria National Park and enjoy a complimentary picnic lunch in one of the many different beaches of the area.

You can also stay in Morromico and take short walks to explore the different streams and waterfalls and swim in the natural fresh water ponds. You don’t have to go too far to experience the natural beauty of the jungle – it is right there, in our own backyard .

Guys, this is the stuff of dreams. It’s a private island with a happy, healthy wonderful family on a black sand beach with gorgeous dogs frolicking around, waterfalls for bathing a short hike from the property, mountain hiking, incredibly fresh food eaten around a community table, all the stars you could ever want to see…total separation from the world. I’ve been traveling the world for years, have been all throughout South America, Asia, India and Africa and this is the place I’d been looking for. I was the only one there so they happily suggested I take the private honeymoon bungalow to myself, an open air, beautiful space right next to the sea. Just incredible in every sense
